NIPTWS04 Supporting Parents in Education (Primary)

This workshop focuses on the importance of developing positive working relationships with parents. NQTs are encouraged to work closely with parents to achieve optimum learning outcomes for their pupils/students. Effective communication skills and strategies for building positive relationships are explored through discussion and role play. Parent- teacher meetings, both formal and informal, are a key focus of this workshop.
