PDST Number Sense Workshop (PRIMARY)

PDST presents two workshops on developing number sense with young pupils (Junior Infants - 2nd Class). Number sense focuses on "classroom conversations around purposefully crafted computation problems that are solved mentally (Parrish 2014)".

Through practical activities, we will illustrate how teachers can help all pupils develop a deeper, more intuitive, understanding and flexibility when working with numbers.
