Engagement in this course will improve teacher’s individual practice by placing a focus on Assessment practices and how digital tools can support that process.
This course supports teachers to use a STEM approach to planning lessons.
Assessment approaches will be supported by the use of digital tools.
This research based innovative approach to planning lessons incorporates an integrated curricular approach. Lessons planned will use STEM, SESE, Maths, Digital Technologies.
This approach, using Digital tools allows for accessibility for all students.
This course will incorporate a variety of learning methodologies including; active learning; discussions; problem solving; collective collaboration; use of various digital tools; applying the ATS STEM learning approach.
Teachers will be provided with posters, poster cards and card decks to support planning and will be supported to use the planning materials to design STEM lessons.
Planning materials are available in English and in Irish and workshop elements of the course will be facilitated in English and Irish.
