Studying Habitats to develop skills in Literacy / Numeracy
This course delivered by Nuala Madigan, B.Agr.Env.Sc., M.Ed. will
explore the variety of habitats and biodiversity in your local
community, encouraging you as educators to explore your local
environment while also using your outdoor environment to develop your
students’ skills in literacy and numeracy. Habitats covered include
woodlands, boglands, grassland & fen, rivers and canals and the school
garden.
