Paula is a qualified Primary Teacher. She has been involved with Education Centres as a facilitator since 2012. Most recently, Paula has been awarded Certificates in Meditation teaching, Chair Yoga and Human Holistic Development by the IMTTA.
Working in an educational setting can be challenging at the best of times so she understands the importance of taking time to look after your own wellbeing, especially in the current climate and finds chair yoga beneficial in helping manage stress levels as it offers the same benefits as floor yoga.
She invites you to pull up a chair and join her in this restorative and accessible yoga practice where she will hold space for you to allow you to enhance your own wellbeing and self-care with the intention of relaxing and rebalancing the body, mind and spirit. Suitable for all fitness levels and for those who are unable to access floor yoga. Bring some calm and quiet into your evening and activate your relaxation response. Stretch gently while you reconnect to yourself, through mindful movement and, using your breath to relax the body, mind and spirit. Guided mediation will be included in the 3 sessions too.
A sturdy chair with no sides is preferable and comfortable clothes. Bring a warm blanket or cosy top for the meditation. You might prefer dim lighting. Notebook or journal and pen optional.
