We welcome you to the Teacher Online Zoom Breathing Space Course over 3 evenings for some time away from the stresses and pressures of the times we find ourselves in. Come away to a safe space of rest and relaxation. As a teacher, your role demands that you give of yourself each day. This course will be a way of filling you back up. Each week we will engage in self-care and mindful practices to calm the mind, soothe the body, ease the soul and ignite the light within. In times of great uncertainty, self-care will be our way of keeping our light burning in order to sustain our energy and keep our mind as healthy as can be. It is also vital that we come together in these spaces to maintain a connection and remind ourselves of the value of our role.
All you will need is a soft relaxing space (this may just be a cushion and blanket), a candle to light together (feel free to add more candles if you wish to your space), and if you want to light some incense or oil too. Have a pen and paper ready for our gratitude and check in practices. There will be soft music playing but you might prefer to have your own music on as well in the background. We invite you to create a space where you feel cozy and can relax in each evening of the course. Never before have we needed these breathing spaces as much.
