Date: Monday 22nd February 2021 from 7pm-8pm
This webinar will take participants on a journey to explore the many constrained and unconstrained skills that are involved in the complex reading process. The cueing systems will then be integral to analysing a sample lesson and noting the various ways that reading needs to be taught as opposed to being simply heard. Participants will need plain paper and a pencil at the ready.
Facilitator: Catherine Gilliland, Senior Lecturer Languages & Literacy, St Mary’s University College. Literacy Specialist, Story teller and passionate educator.
