Peer Practice Programme for Teachers on Collaboration
We often hear people talk about ‘working smarter not harder.’ Teachers who can take a step back and reflect on their practice can identify ways to work that are more effective and less demanding on their time and energy. Reflecting with a peer allows you to access more ways to improve your practice and skills.
In this six week programme, we will reflect on collaboration and how it enhances our work. We will practice collaborating with a colleague and learn by doing. Our weekly meeting on Tuesdays, followed by an email with guidance each Wednesday, your individual reflection and the weekly conversation with your practice partner will create a learning cycle to enhance your abilities and opportunities to collaborate in your own context.
You can sign up with a colleague or we can pair you with another participant in order to practice with a group of professionals, to create connection and deepen your understanding of collaboration.
· Deepen your reflective practice skills
· Support your reflecting with colleagues
· Identify opportunities for initiating and/or improving collaboration in your own context
